On June 12, 2024, we held the 1st HUNOG Meetup, the smaller sibling event of the autumn professional conference focused on internet networks.
The term "meetup" in English means a meeting or gathering, but meetups specifically refer to gatherings where people who are not necessarily familiar with each other come together, brought together by a shared profession or common interest.
The topic this time was email security. Around 60 professionals attended presentations by József Kadlecsik, Balázs Kósa, and Zsolt Pocskai. The event was moderated by Csaba Bodor, Managing Director of ISZT Nonprofit Ltd (Official .HU Registry). After the presentations, participants spent hours engaging in conversations and networking at Craft Head Brewpub & Bistro.
Let’s meet on October 9-10 at HUNOG, held at the Flow Hotel & Conference in Inárcs!
We're looking forward to meeting you at HUNOG_2.

Last year, we held Hungary’s first Network Operator Group (NOG) conference to bring together professionals in the field of internet networks.Based on the feedback, it was clear that the event was a much-needed addition to the industry.
Our goal is for professionals to meet not only at the two-day October conference but also once or twice a year, in line with international "NOG" community traditions. These meetups, held in the format of "beering," will take place on weekday late afternoons in a pub setting. After 2-3 brief professional presentations, there will be an opportunity for networking combined with casual beer drinking.
